A fair day’s work deserves a fair day’s pay. That means protecting workers’ rights to advocate for better wages and benefits without fear of retribution, cracking down on wage theft, and ensuring that Virginia’s economy rewards the people who keep it running—not just corporate profits.
Paid Leave for Working Families
Paid sick leave is common sense. No one should have to choose between getting better or a pay check. Likewise, taking care of your family shouldn’t cost you your paycheck. Whether it’s welcoming a newborn or caring for a sick loved one, no one should have to choose between their job and their family. Guaranteeing paid parental leave strengthens families, boosts the workforce, and helps businesses retain employees.
A Fairer Tax System That Works for Everyone
Our tax system shouldn’t punish working families while giving the wealthiest a free ride. I support common-sense reforms that ask the highest earners to pay their fair share while easing the burden on middle-class and working families. That includes looking at ways to reform property and car taxes so that everyday Virginians are paying a proportionate amount.
Raising Wages & Expanding Opportunity
The cost of living keeps rising, but wages aren’t keeping up. It’s time to raise wages so that no Virginian working 40 hours a week is living in poverty. But it’s not just about wages—it’s about opportunity. We need real pathways to the middle class, whether through good jobs, job training or education that actually leads to success.
Protecting Affordable Healthcare & Supporting Families
Affordable healthcare, housing, childcare, and reproductive freedom are fundamental—not political bargaining chips. I’ll fight to protect your right to make decisions for your family, your health, and your future, ensuring every Virginian can thrive.
Championing Reproductive Rights
Every woman deserves the right to make decisions about her own body—period. I will fight to protect reproductive freedom, including access to safe, legal abortion and contraception. As a mother whose own family was made possible through the miracle of IVF, I will also fiercely advocate for expanding and protecting affordable fertility treatments, ensuring all families have the freedom to grow in the way that’s right for them.
Making Healthcare More Affordable
No one should go without the care they need because they can’t afford it, and healthcare decisions should be made by patients and their doctors—not politicians. I will push to expand access to affordable healthcare and strengthen funding to support those with rare and chronic conditions.
Tackling the Rising Cost of Housing
Families shouldn’t be priced out of the communities where they work and live. In the House of Delegates, I will work for smart, common-sense solutions to increase affordable housing options while preserving the character of our communities.

No parent should ever have to choose between paying the bills and finding safe, quality childcare. I am committed to making daycare affordable to everyone so working families can succeed without breaking the bank.
Investing in Education
A great education opens doors—to higher education, well-paying jobs, and lifelong opportunity. But the consequences of underfunded schools are just as clear: lack of access to quality education is a direct pathway to poverty. That’s why I will work to ensure our public schools have the funding, resources, and support they need to give every child, no matter their background, the opportunity to succeed.

Every student deserves a well-funded school, from up-to-date classrooms and technology to competitive salaries that attract and retain great teachers and support staff. Strong schools create strong communities, and I’ll fight to ensure every child, regardless of ZIP code or skin color, has access to a high-quality education.
Expanding Career & Technical Education
College isn’t the only path to success. Virginia’s workforce is strongest when students have real options, from community college to career and technical education. I support expanding access to programs such as G3 tuition assistance, ensuring that students can build skills for in-demand careers without the burden of debt.
Making Higher Education More Affordable
No one should be priced out of opportunity. I support common-sense solutions to make four-year degrees more affordable and accessible—especially for students who commit to staying in Virginia and contributing to our workforce after graduation.

I’ve been honored to serve under both Democratic and Republican governors, and I’ll bring that same commitment of common-sense, bipartisan leadership to the House of Delegates.
